Almost lost
Posted on May 29th, 2010 @ 5:03 pm

The shipping box was almost lost in transit. That’s why it took so long for it to arrive. The box contains toys that my cousin’s kids already discarded. I am giving it to an orphanage. We’ve been doing this for three years now. My cousin has two kids who are aged 5 and 8 now. They get so many toys from their parents and other relatives living within the state. So what my cousin do is that she collects the toys her kids didn’t want to play with anymore. At the end of the year she boxes all of it and ships it to me.

Good thing the shipping box arrived now and I’m off to the orphanage tomorrow.

Relaxing Sunday?!
Posted on May 29th, 2010 @ 4:45 pm

It’s Sunday tomorrow and I am supposed to just rest and relax. But my uncle called me up and asked if I can help him find a car insurance for his brand new car. Of course I couldn’t say no to an elder and his request is reasonable anyway. He will just bring me food once we see each other when I already found a car insurance provider for him.

I am calling two friends who are both insurance agents and will ask for quotes from them. I will then call up my uncle and ask him what he thinks of both quotes and make him choose. And then I am going back to my relaxing Sunday…

Set in his ways
Posted on May 29th, 2010 @ 4:42 pm

I keep reminding my dad that he needs to wear work gloves whenever he does some carpentry work at home. His hands are full of calluses. I am worried it might get wounded and get infected. It is always better to be safe than sorry.

I bought him a pair already so there won’t be anymore reason for him not to wear one. He can be set in his ways at times but me and my siblings can coax him into seeing our side of every story so there’s still hope for him.

Bitter old woman
Posted on May 29th, 2010 @ 4:39 pm

There’s a bitter old woman roaming the neighborhood the other day. She was an old resident but relocated because she used to bother a lot of her neighbors. They petitioned for her to be evicted of the apartment she’s renting out and they did. She went to visit her only friend in the neighborhood and my aunt said that even the best wrinkle cream won’t be able to erase the traces of wrinkled bitterness on her face.

Too bad. My aunt said she used to be a raging beauty and men fell on her feet like flies swatted. But for some reason, she turned sour and bitter and never got married.

Stressed out at work
Posted on May 29th, 2010 @ 4:35 pm

Two friends of my dad came over for a visit. Both are in great need of hair loss treatment for men! I told my dad about this and he just laughed. My dad can be smug about this because he still has a full crown of hair. But he just said that the two men are always stressed out at work according to them so maybe that’s the reason why they couldn’t take care of treating their hair loss.

The men in the family are very fortunate in that there hasn’t been a need for hair loss treatment for any of them. Even my paternal grandfather has his full crown of hair until now.

Two words
Posted on May 29th, 2010 @ 4:28 pm

Who knew that a simple mention of the words diet pills will produce such inspiration in a friend of mine? After talking to her over the phone, she directly went to a pharmacy near her place. She bought a pack of the diet pills and tried it. She is lazy when it comes to exercising but she is doing some stretching and walking alongside the pills.

And what do you know?! She’s lost twenty pounds in three months! I was just asking her if there are side effects to the pills she’s taking and she said that the only thing she noticed was she gets cranky at times. But that’s it.

She’s found a great diet aid there!

Sensitive discussions
Posted on May 29th, 2010 @ 4:23 pm

I am open to any topic when it comes to my friends. I mean, it would be awkward to talk about intimacy with family but with friends, that’s just normal. The last time we had dinner, we got to discuss the importance of performance versus size in men. We also discussed vigrx plus which a friend of mine is thinking of trying out. He’s the one that said that some women really prefer the size over the performance.

Oh well, to each her own, right?

It was a great discussion over good food. And we love the restaurant we frequent because we can discuss sensitive topics without anybody overhearing us.

Marks on our body
Posted on May 29th, 2010 @ 4:14 pm

I think I might need to buy stretch marks creams for me, my sister and my brother. We’ve noticed that we are prone to stretch marks. My brother is going to the gym regularly and is in the process of getting his muscles toned. He accidentally scratched a portion of his shoulder blade and now he has a stretch mark on it. We are really prone to this. I once scratched my nape because of a new haircut and now my nape has a deep line across it. My sister on the other hand has some on her tummy. Again, from scratching it accidentally.

Better get those creams of we will end up with marks in parts of our body that we accidentally scratch!

Our adopted hometown
Posted on May 13th, 2010 @ 4:00 pm

I went back to Tam-awan Village with my sisters more than a week ago. Just as I expected, they loved the place! There were just too many corners of that place so good to take a picture at. Knowing I have two photo-loving girls with me, I knew the place would be a big hit to them. And it did!

We were talking about going back again next year. Baguio City has become our adopted hometown. We love the weather and the city itself! Imagine, you can enjoy the provincial feel of the place while enjoying the amenities of a city. The place is that good!

Have you been to Baguio City yet?

Poured into the dress
Posted on May 13th, 2010 @ 3:55 pm

She was oh so sexy! Mia is a bit chubby but when I saw her at the party, she was sporting a body hugging dress that made her look like she was poured into it. She whispered to me that she was wearing a kymaro body shaper that’s why she looked like that. Wow! If that can make Mia look sexy, I ought to try it out one of these days!

I am comfortable with my body, excess weight and all. But there are days when I wish I could have been a little bit sexier so I could wear a dress I really like. Then I would think of losing weight. I really think I will try the body shaper. It might bring me some luck in finding a partner in life. Who knows?!
