Acting up
Posted on June 29th, 2009 @ 10:56 am

My laptop is acting up. I need to have it checked because when I use the built-in web came, the screen becomes distorted. I am thinking of instead of having it repaired, I will just buy a new one and trade the current one in. I am checking laptop deals at Buy.com and I really think I will be buying a new one. I am leaning towards that idea right now because I am seeing great deals. But anyway, I will be asking an IT expert first before I make a decision. It won’t be practical to spend when I can still save the one I am using, right?

Fitness equipment
Posted on June 29th, 2009 @ 10:44 am

My aunt is selling her slightly used elliptical to me. I want to buy it because as you might have noticed in several of my old posts, I am overweight. It would be really great to have my own fitness equipment at home. But I have one slight problem. We don’t have a space for it anymore. I have to make do with the fitness videos I have at the moment and would have to wait for a larger house to accommodate an elliptical of my own.

Brief vacation
Posted on June 27th, 2009 @ 12:03 pm

My friend was told that she needs to go on a brief vacation if she does not want to keel over from too much stress. She’s been tasked to handle a very important project in her company and she’s giving 101% of herself to it. She’s so dedicated to her craft that mediocrity is never an option for her.

So now, since she’s almost done with the project and her bosses are so happy with the results they are seeing, she’ll be given a two-week vacation afterwards to Outer Banks. All expenses paid by the company! Wow! Of course, she’s taking advantage of it. Who doesn’t?

Fear and security
Posted on June 25th, 2009 @ 7:30 pm

One of the things I am scared of when going out of town is fire. I can’t bring with me all the important documents and possessions at home so when I leave it, there is this fear of losing everything. I am sure that there are persons out there like me who has this fear. That’s why I make it a point to secure our home insurance. Even my grandma’s house is insured. For a minimal amount, you are assured that should anything happen, you have something to fall back on. If you don’t have one yet, get a quote from your insurance agent and secure the policy as soon as possible.
